Privacy notice
The complete notice, in plain language. It says what Plevir holds, for how long, who receives it, and how to have it erased.
Who holds it
Plevir is run by the operator of Plevir, an individual based in France. There is no company behind it yet. The operator is the data controller. Write to privacy@plevir.com for anything on this page, including a copy of your data or its erasure.
What is processed
Your phone number, your first name if you give it, the reminder itself, and the history of messages between you and Plevir.
Why, and on what basis
To deliver the reminders you asked for, on your consent. For a reminder that reveals your faith or your health, on your separate explicit consent, and for nothing else.
Who receives it
The reminder is delivered through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta, so the content passes through Meta systems. That can involve a transfer outside the European Union.
Who helps run it
Plevir runs on a few services that act only on its instructions. Supabase stores the data in Paris, France. Anthropic interprets what you write so Plevir can answer; that can involve processing in the United States. PostHog measures visits to the plevir.com website, in Europe and only if you consent on the site. Lovable serves this website and reports its errors; Cloudflare sits at its network edge and runs the bot check on its two forms. Each is a processor acting for Plevir.
Who reads it
Operators do not read conversation content in normal operation. Access happens only for support, abuse, or legal reasons, and every access is recorded in an access log.
If you report a problem
The report form on this site is open to anyone, whether or not you use Plevir. What you write is kept, along with which part of Plevir you were reporting about and the phone number or email address you choose to leave so that a reply can reach you. A number typed into that form is never attached to a Plevir account. A Cloudflare bot check runs when the form opens, and only a one-way fingerprint of its token is kept, so the same check cannot be replayed. A report is kept while it is open and afterwards as the record of what was reported and what was done about it.
An automated service
Plevir is automated software: a computer system reads and answers your messages, and no person writes the replies. It never pretends to be human — if you ask whether you are talking to a machine, it says so plainly.
Voice notes
If you send a voice note, it is transcribed to text by ElevenLabs or, for Indian languages, by Sarvam — processors acting for Plevir. The audio recording itself is not stored by Plevir; the transcript is stored like any other message you send. Plevir replies to you in writing; it does not send spoken messages.
How long
Message content is redacted after twenty-four months. Records of your consents, your rights requests and their fulfilment are kept as lasting proof that your choices were honoured. Delivery and security records are kept while the service runs in its testing phase.
Your rights
Access a copy, correct it, erase it, restrict it, take it elsewhere, object, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing is never harder than giving.
Complaints
You can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Automated decisions
Plevir makes no automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect.
The commands that keep you in control
Each command is exact and works on its own message — send it as the whole message, not a word inside a sentence. The English forms above always work, and Plevir also recognises these commands written in other languages. Plevir answers you in your own language.
